Questions leading to stronger information and a better decision
The thought

When water enters a lot, begin with where it is coming from. When quotations propose different solutions, ask why. When an expert recommends action, ask what happens if the work is not done.

Why it matters

Good judgement begins before the answer.

The quality of a decision often depends on the quality of the question asked before it. Checking facts, challenging assumptions and involving the right expertise is professional judgement—not uncertainty.

One practical action

Before recommending an outcome, write down the problem you are actually solving, the facts still missing and the expert input that may be required.

Hold this thought
