The Cheapest Quote Can Become the Most Expensive Decision

Compare scope, capability, risk and long-term value—not the bottom-line price alone.

The thought

Two prices are not two comparable options unless they answer the same question. A lower figure may exclude investigation, access, warranty, testing, supervision or the work needed to fix the underlying cause.

Why it matters

Price is what you pay. Value is what you receive.

A decision based on an incomplete scope can delay the real repair, create further cost and expose the owners corporation to avoidable risk. Comparable quotations make the trade-offs visible.

One practical action

Before comparing totals, place scope, exclusions, capability, timing, warranty and aftercare side by side. Identify every material gap before making a recommendation.

Hold this thought

Are the quotations truly comparable, or do they describe different solutions?
