This notice explains how Silvestro Musumeci trading as STRATA IQ Academy (ABN 38 721 081 538) handles personal information in the Learning Hub.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, role title, organisation, membership preferences, learning progress, assessment attempts, certificates, messages you send us, and limited technical and security information associated with your use of the Learning Hub.

Why we collect and use it

We use this information to create and secure your membership, save learning progress, issue and verify certificates, respond to enquiries, maintain legal and publication controls, improve Academy content and operate the service. Marketing communications are optional and can be withdrawn.

Storage and service providers

Membership and learning records are stored through Supabase, with the primary database region configured in Sydney, Australia. Hosting, authentication, security, email and infrastructure providers may process limited information in Australia and other countries where they operate, including the United States. We apply access controls, encrypted transport, row-level security and restricted administrative access.

Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers supporting the Learning Hub, where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security or misuse. Providers receive only the access reasonably required for their function.

Retention and security

Records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for membership, learning, certificate verification, legal, accounting, security and dispute-management purposes. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or de-identified where practicable and lawful. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Access, correction and complaints

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, close your membership, withdraw optional marketing consent, or make a privacy complaint using the Academy contact form. We will verify identity before releasing or changing account information and respond within a reasonable period. If a privacy concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Updates

We may update this notice when the Learning Hub or information-handling practices change. The version and effective date will be shown at the top of this page.
