Learning Hub terms

These terms apply to the STRATA IQ Academy Learning Hub operated by Silvestro Musumeci trading as STRATA IQ Academy (ABN 38 721 081 538).

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account or using the Learning Hub, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the privacy policy. You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information and be legally capable of accepting these terms. The Academy is designed for adult professional and committee learning.

2. Educational purpose

The Academy develops practical workplace judgement and professional capability. Content is general NSW strata education informed by practical industry experience. It is not legal, engineering, accounting, insurance or financial advice for a specific scheme or person. Before acting, check current law, the registered scheme documents, delegations, resolutions, contracts and appropriate professional advice.

3. Legal-source control and currency

Law-sensitive courses are assigned review records and official sources. Laws, guidance and practice can change between reviews. The source register supports traceability but does not guarantee that a statement remains current after its stated review date.

4. AI and interactive guidance

The Academy Guide, guided Role Play Room and interactive scenarios are learning aids. Guided participant responses and automated assessment rules cannot evaluate every communication style or workplace circumstance. Use only the fictional scenario facts; do not enter confidential scheme, client, employer or personal information. A role-play score or debrief is developmental feedback, not a legal opinion, employment assessment or certification of competence. Independently verify material facts, current law, authority and professional advice before acting in a real situation.

5. Membership and account security

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential and use only your own account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably required to protect members, Academy systems, intellectual property or lawful operation.

6. Founding membership and planned tiers

Members who join by 31 January 2027 receive complimentary access to the complete Silver learning experience during the founding period. No payment card is required and the Academy will not automatically charge a member when that period ends. Before any access change, members will be given a clear explanation of their options. They may continue with the free Bronze membership or voluntarily choose an available paid membership. Founding Member recognition remains attached to the account, although inclusions and services may evolve as the Academy develops.

7. Future paid services

If a paid course, membership, speaking engagement, seminar, workshop, publication or team service is introduced, its applicable price, inclusions, delivery arrangements and cancellation terms will be shown or agreed before purchase or booking. No founding member will be charged automatically without actively choosing a paid offer. Any refund or remedy will be handled consistently with the Australian Consumer Law and the specific offer or engagement terms.

8. Assessments and certificates

A certificate records completion of an Academy knowledge check at the stated result. It is not a government licence, registered training organisation qualification, professional accreditation or guarantee of workplace competence. Certificates may be revoked for fraud, impersonation, technical error or serious misuse.

9. Your learning licence and intellectual property

Academy content, design, assessments, scenarios and publications are protected by intellectual-property law. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access available content for your own learning while your membership permits it. Downloadable tools may be used in your own professional work unless marked otherwise, but may not be republished, resold or presented as your own.

10. Acceptable use

Do not share accounts, scrape or systematically copy content, republish or sell Academy material, train another system on it, defeat access controls, probe security, introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, submit unlawful or harmful material, impersonate another person, manipulate assessments or certificates, or misrepresent authorship, accreditation or legal authority. 11. Information you submit

You remain responsible for information submitted through Academy forms. Only provide information you are entitled to share. You give the Academy permission to use a submission as reasonably necessary to respond, provide the service, investigate an issue and improve de-identified learning themes. We will not publicly identify you or a scheme from a private submission without permission or another lawful basis.

12. Third-party links and resources

The Academy links to legislation, government guidance and other external resources. External sites control their own availability, content and privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of every statement, service or later change on that site.

13. Service changes, suspension and closure

We may correct, update, withdraw or replace content and functionality for legal, security, quality or operational reasons. We will use reasonable care in operating the Learning Hub but cannot promise uninterrupted availability.

We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary for security, fraud, serious or repeated misuse, unlawful conduct or material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond. A member may close their membership through My Learning → Account & Email Preferences or request assistance through the contact form.

14. Consumer rights and responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, the Academy is not responsible for loss caused by treating general educational material as scheme-specific professional advice, failing to check current sources or authority, unauthorised use of an account, or a third-party service outside the Academy's reasonable control.

15. Complaints and disputes

Please first use the complaints process so the Academy can review the issue and propose a practical resolution. Nothing in that process prevents a person from using a right or external remedy available by law.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Academy, law, security or membership offerings. The current version and effective date appear above. Material changes will be communicated through the website or member service where appropriate. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance, except where fresh consent is required by law.

17. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
